Lytle Police Report March 12-17

March 12
1:55 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of 3 young adult males entering the store and shortly exiting with 5 cases of Budweiser while dropping 1 of the 5 in the street. The males ran to a silver 4-door vehicle parked in the general parking area and leaving towards the McDonalds area. Total estimated value $74.95.
2:49 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a male who walked into the cooler area and walked out with a “tall boy” without paying. Total estimated value $2.49.
4:22 AM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home to assist Atascosa EMS with an adult female with breathing complications. She was transported to San Antonio by Atascosa EMS.
9:15 AM – Officer talked to complainant who reported that he received a text message that made him feel uncomfortable.
10:48 AM – Officer responded to a dispute over property, involved parties were informed it was a civil matter.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for report of a reckless driver in the parking lot.
8:01 PM – Officer dispatched to White Cap Dr. for a report of a man walking down the road with a rifle. Officer was told that the man was looking for a dog that attacked him. The man wasn’t located.
9:48 PM – Officers responded to assist with an EMS call at the Best Western hotel.
March 13
12:32 AM – Officer assisted with a disturbance on Naegelin Rd.
12:42 AM – Officer conducted a traffic stop on Adams St. and seized a registration sticker belonging to a stolen vehicle.
7:18 AM – Officer checked out a driver who was allegedly driving reckless.
8:19 AM – Officer assisted with a resident that locked herself out of her house. The officer was able to get in.
10:20 AM – Officers assisted with a funeral escort from Prevailing Word Church to Lytle Comm. Cemetery.
1:05 PM – A complainant reported that his 2007 blue Kenworth tractor trailer was taken while parked on the IH-35 Access Rd near Creek St. It was taken sometime between 6:35 PM on the 12th and 12:35 AM on this date. The value was estimated at 35K-50K.
3:29 PM – Railroad St. No injuries or damage was reported.
4:45 PM – Officer took a report of a minor two vehicle accident.
9:10 PM – Officers responded to a disturbance. The incident stemmed from a civil dispute over a tenant / landlord situation.
10: 29 PM – Officer observed the lights off at Taco Bell, employee stated all was okay. They were just closing early.
March 14
4:44 AM – Officer provided a courtesy ride for a stranded person to a location on Old Pearsall Rd.
8:30 AM – Officer unlocked a vehicle at the HEB C-Store
8:56 AM – Officers responded to the Exxon in the 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a disturbance.
10:40 AM – Officers provided a funeral escort for Hurley’s Funeral Home.
11:50 AM – Officer assisted with attempting to locate a female who was a run-a-way from Bexar Co. She was later located in San Antonio.
5:05 PM – Officer was requested to assist an ACSO Deputy with a traffic stop on the access rd. of IH-35.
5:35 PM – Officer unlocked a vehicle at the HEB Plus.
5:55 PM – Officer took a report of a reckless driver on S. Somerset St., unable to locate.
6:55 PM – Officer conducted a welfare check on a resident in the 16000 Blk. of White Cap Dr.
11:15 PM – Officer located a person revving the engine on a motorcycle.
March 15
10:40 AM – Officers provided a funeral escort form St. Andrew’s Church to FM 2790 E. headed to Somerset.
12:10 PM – Officer investigated a two vehicle non-injury collision.
4:30 PM – Officers responded to the Whataburger to unlock a vehicle.
7:18 PM – Officer fingerprinted a subject at the Fire Dept.
8:35 PM – Officer initiated a traffic stop on a speeding motorcycle in the 14600 blk. of Main Street. The subject fled from the officer initiating a police chase. The subject crashed the motorcycle into another vehicle as it merged on IH 35 near mile marker 132. Texas DPS assisted with working the crash scene.
March 16
5:04 AM – Officer responded to the 14900 Blk. of Main Street for a suspicious male walking in the area. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
10:00 AM – Officer responded to the 18500 Blk. of N. Benton Street in reference to a basketball goal being run over by an unknown vehicle.
1:45 PM – Officer responded to the PD to speak with a complainant in reference to a reckless driver that was in Bexar County.
2:55 PM – Officer responded to the PD for a child custody issue.
11:47 PM – Officers responded to Bruce St. @ Harbour St. for loud music.
11:48 PM – Officers responded to the Bill Miller’s for a disturbance.
March 17
1:29 AM – Officer responded to the John’s Small Engine Repair for an alarm.
11:55 AM – Officer responded to Main St. @ Somerset St. for a verbal disturbance.
12:30 PM – Officer responded to the Central Auto Salvage for a civil matter.
5:01 PM – Officers responded to the City Sewer Plant for a report of a female and child who were running from her estranged husband. The incident occurred in Meadow Brook and was referred to ACSO.
5:56 PM – Officer responded to the area of Main St. at the North city limits to look for a vehicle that just fled the scene of an accident in Bexar Co. The vehicle was located and stopped. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle turned up a baggie of Cocaine. A 30-year-old was arrested for Poss. Of a Cont. Sub. Penalty Group 1.
