Lytle Police Report June 26-July 2

June 26
1:20 AM – Emergency Mental Health Detention Officers responded to 19400 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of person in a mental health crisis. Subject was placed into emergency detention and transported to Southwest General Hospital for an evaluation.
11:25 AM – Traffic stop at FM 2790 N at N. Prairie St. resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Felony Theft. Subject claimed medical problems and he was transported by EMS to Medina Valley Regional then to Medina Co. Jail.
11:55 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report her vehicle as stolen (A red 2016 Toyota Camry). The vehicle was taken the night before. Complainant believes her granddaughter may have taken it.
June 27
1:57 AM – Officers responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
9:10 AM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
9:25 AM – Officer responded to Martin St. at Main St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer located the vehicle and arrested a 57-year-old male subject for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released.
1:15 PM – Officer responded to Metro PCS for a report of an unruly customer. The customer departed prior to officer’s arrival.
2:59 PM – Officer responded to Fox Run to assist Atascosa Co. with a recovery of a stolen travel trailer.
3:30 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and reported illegal use of credit cards. An unknown subject(s) used complainant’s credit card numerous times without permission at several locations in Lytle and the surrounding area.
9:15 PM – Officers responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to turning on a breaker box.
10:22 PM – Officers responded to 18500 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a report of lose dogs in the area.
11:33 PM – Officers responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to a neighbor complaint.
June 28
5:15 AM – Traffic stop resulted in the emergency detention of driver. The driver was transported to the Police Department and then released to his daughter.
8:43 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at N. Somerset St. to unlock a vehicle.
11:45 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at Railroad St. for a welfare check on a two male subjects sleeping near the Veteran’s Pavilion. Officer located the two males who were just napping.
1150 AM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at IH 35 S Frontage Rd. for a report of an 18 wheeler blocking the roadway. Officer was unable to locate.
4:15 PM – Cortez Automotive for a reported an attempted burglary of a vehicle. An unknown person(s) attempted to steal the vehicle stereo.
4:58 PM – Officer responded to Dr. Dental for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and found the front doors secured but not properly.
8:03 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
9:19 PM – Talk to Officer Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant misplacing his eye glasses.
June 29
11:12 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant wanting to live at Heaven for Hope in San Antonio.
12:48 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB at Kinney Rd. to assist Bexar Co. SO with a crash involving 32 loose snakes.
4:14 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
5:22 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:16 PM – Officer responded to 100 Hoffman Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a physical disturbance.
June 30
12:51 AM – Officer located an open garage door on Rocky’s Circle, an attempt was made to locate the resident.
8:13 AM – Officer was dispatched to check the status on an elderly female. She was given a ride home by a citizen.
1:30 PM – Officer was notified of children left unattended in a vehicle at the Family Dollar. Officer determined that no offense occurred.
1:40 PM – Officer met complainant at the PD, she reported that she believed she had two unauthorized charges on her debit card. Offense didn’t occur in our jurisdiction.
2:30 PM – Officers responded to a disturbance involving parking spaces.
10:35 PM – Officer assisted Lytle EMS with a call on N. Benton.
July 1
12:15 AM – Officer spoke with complainant about a civil matter involving personal property.
12:45 AM – Officer assisted Lytle EMS on Star Cross Trail.
6:02 AM – Officer determined alarm at Taco Bell was accidentally set off.
2:20 AM – Officers responded to a disturbance in the 15000 blk. of Park Place Dr.
5:30 PM – Officer took a report of a 75 QT. Yeti cooler valued at $400 was taken out of the bed of a pickup at HEB Plus.
7:06 PM – Officers responded to Beall’s for a disturbance. A 24-year-old male subject was arrested for public intoxication and booked into the Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:02 PM – Officer responded to N. Pecan St. for a 911 hang up call. It was determined the caller needed EMS. Lytle EMS responded.
July 2
9:12 AM – Officers made contact with a person set up selling BBQ in the 19000 block of McDonald that didn’t have permission to use the property.
3:04 PM – Officers met with a complainant at the police station reference a civil matter.
7:02 PM – Officer made contact with driver on IH-35 at the Medina County line. Lytle EMS was called and checked out the driver.
9:00 PM – Complainant spoke to officer about a civil matter.
9:50 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle Apartments and checked the area for a suspicious person.
