Lytle Police Report August 14-20

August 14
11:43 AM – Officers responded to Wisdom Rd. (Bexar Co. Area) for a report of a child walking on the road that may need assistance. Officers checked the area, unable to locate.
1:33 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a fire alarm. Officer was cancelled upon arrival.
5:00 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a resident that had walked out of the Camino Real Crisis Center.
6:43 PM – Officers responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a welfare check on a subject. Officers arrived and located the individual who was transported to Southwest General Hospital for a medical evaluation.
9:16 PM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Pecan St. to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a patient.
9:28 PM – Officer responded to Quick Silver Automotive for a report of an alarm.
11:40 PM – Officers responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. to speak with an officer in reference to a neighbor complaint.
August 15
2:45 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. to talk to an officer in reference to not being able to sleep due to not having prescription meds.
6:48 AM – Officer responded to Fist St. for a report of a female causing a disturbance. Officer arrived and complainant stated his ex-girlfriend attempted to force her into his residence and scratched him during the struggle to keep her out of the residence. Case under investigation.
12:10 PM – Officers responded to 300 Blk. of Quail Run to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a suicidal woman. Subject was transported by Atascosa EMS.
1:50 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 E towards Somerset for a report of a stranded motorist. Officer was unable to locate motorist.
11:43 PM –Officers responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a welfare check on a male. Officers made contact with the owner of the residence who stated the male did not live at the residence. Officers spoke with the male subject and he stated he was ok.
August 16
12:33 AM – Officers responded to 15300 Blk. of Martin St. for a report of the natural death of a 63-year-old male subject.
2:25 AM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Florence St. for an alarm. Officer arrived and found the residence to be secure.
3:45 AM – Officer responded to Camino Real for a report of a resident that left the facility. Officer made contact with the resident and did not feel as if he was a danger to himself and/or others. Resident just wanted a cigar from the store but had every intention returning to the facility.
6:26 AM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a report of a suspicious man pacing in front of the business. Officer arrived and located the male who had walked off from the Camino Real Crisis Center to smoke a cigarette. Officer provided a courtesy ride back to the facility.
10:06 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S (1 mile out of city limits) to assist Medina Co. DPS Trooper who had stopped an 18 wheeler after it had run down a stop sign at IH 35 S Frontage Rd. and FM 2790 E. Officer notified Public Works to place a temporary stop sign and TX DOT was notified.
10:15 AM – Officers responded to 19600 Blk. of Florence St. for a report of an open back door. Officers cleared the house and found no signs of criminal activity.
10:42 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a burglary of habitation. An unknown person(s) gained entry into an unoccupied house, broke the windows and caused other damages. Total estimated damages worth about $1,500.
11:10 AM – Officer responded to Railroad St. for a report of a man riding a bike carrying a 5 gallon gas can. Citizens thought he might be trying to start fires on Railroad St. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:20 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a Pecan tree damaged by unknown substance. Tree appeared to have had too much heat/sun.
12:40 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to an unknown person who forged a check in complainant’s name and cashed it in San Antonio. Complainant was referred to San Antonio PD due to jurisdiction.
12:55 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with an emergency detention of a potentially violent patient.
1:10 PM – Officer responded to Main St. for a report of a white pick-up towing a flatbed trailer dropping trash on the road. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
5:52 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a report of a disturbance in the parking lot. One vehicle was not allowing another to exit a parking spot. Officer searched the area but found all vehicles legally parked to have a point of exit.
6:45 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. for a report of a blind kitten. Officer observed the kitten to be normal.
11:20 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of suspicious activity. Officer stayed in the area monitoring.
August 17
10:00 AM – Officer conducted a follow-up investigation on an accident case.
12:04 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:28 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
3:25 PM – Officer responded to 20000 Blk. of IH 35 SB Frontage Rd. for a two vehicle crash.
August 18
1:26 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer checked the building and found it to be secure.
10:50 AM – Civilian Auxiliary responded to Hacienda Jaliciense to unlock a vehicle.
12:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of an assault. Complainant did not want to file charges against the subject. Subject was issued a criminal trespass warning.
3:21 PM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to shots being fired. Officer searched the area and only found construction workers working on a home.
7:20 PM – Officer was notified that a blue Chevy pick-up was traveling from Castroville and was possibly intoxicated carrying children. Officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop but was unable to observe intoxication.
8:50 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Ball Rd. for a report of a suspicious male and female with a suitcase. Officer arrived and spoke with both young adults who stated they were just going home a few houses away.
11:21 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB at Mile Marker 133 for a report of a possible red convertible that veered off the roadway. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
August 19
9:18 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
12:33 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a 911 hang-up. Officer contacted the resident who stated all was fine.
4:50 PM – Officer observed a large amount of black smoke coming from 18500 Wisdom Rd. and located an unauthorized controlled burn. Officer issued a citation for Burning without a Permit.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to Prairie St. at Houston St. for a report of a female pushing a stroller and a male following her. Officer was then cancelled as complainant could not locate them.
7:00 PM – Officers responded to Days Inn Motel to assist Atascosa Co. Pct. 2 Constable’s Officer with a narcotics arrest.
7:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a shoplifter who stole a beer. The manager was able to obtain the male’s Driver’s License and subject left as soon as the manager mentioned the Lytle Police. The male departed in a silver Jeep.
August 20
8:08 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of three males inside the store acting suspicious. At request of HEB Staff, officer conducted a walk thru until subjects departed.
8:34 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a one vehicle accident that struck a utility pole.
11:08 AM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of Blume Dr. to assist Atascosa EMS with a subject who fell.
12:40 PM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a utility pole and line down due to previous accident. Officer stood by until CPS Energy arrived.
4:59 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to complainant’s mother’s prescription being picked up by a family member without her mother’s consent. Officer advised complainant to contact the pharmacy and advise them to only allow her to be the one to pick it up. Complainant advised officer she was going to come back with her mother to see if charges are to be filed.
8:15 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officers in reference to a semi-truck cutting him off on IH 35 S.
11:10 PM – Officers responded to Dollar General for a report of two suspicious males walking behind the store. Officers were unable to locate.
