Lytle Police Report August 13-19


August 13

8:00 AM – Officer responded to Di Sol Distributions Solutions to unlock a vehicle.
3:14 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of D’Hanis St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
4:59 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. for a report of a solicitor in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:31 PM – Traffic stop at 19000 Blk. of N. Benton St. resulted in the arrest of a male passenger for having an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Original Charge of Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. The driver was cited for traffic violations and released. The vehicle was towed.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Little Pirates Daycare for a report of a suspicious vehicle that backed up to the rear door of the building. It was determined to be the owner of the business.
August 14
4:54 AM – Officer responded to John’s Small Engine and informed the officer of a road rage incident involving complainant and a subject he previously had issues with.
9:11 PM – Officer responded to Boxhouse Rd. at FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
11:21 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. and talked to complainant in regards to an alleged sexual assault of a minor. Further investigation pending.
August 15
9:27 AM – Assisted with unlocking vehicle in the 19300 Blk. of McDonald Street.
10:50 AM – Assisted with unlocking vehicle in the 19300 Blk. of Dawson Street.
1:30 PM – Officer removed debris from the roadway on Main St. @ Somerset St.
4:03 PM – Assisted with unlocking a vehicle at First Klass Cleaners.
4:03 PM – Officers assisted with directing traffic on IH 35.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival the suspect displayed 2 knives. Officer deployed his Taser and took the subject into custody. The subject was transported for a mental health evaluation.
August 16
1:30 AM – Officer responded to CVS Pharmacy for an alarm.
11:54 AM – Officer responded to Pachangon Auto Sales for an attempted theft of a motor vehicle. Unknown suspect entered a 2009 Ford F-250 and damaged the steering column.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to the 63300 Blk. of Diaz St. for a report of people in the attic. Officer determined the homeowner suffers from mental health issues.
August 17
6:40 PM – Officer released property back to the owner.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to the 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a civil standby.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. for a suspicious vehicle.
10:20 PM – Officer assisted EMS in the 18000 blk. of Ball Rd.
10:50 PM – Officer responded to the Country View Apartments for a tenant dispute.
August 18
12:55 AM – Officer assisted EMS in the 14900 Blk. of Adams St.
11:50 AM – Officers responded to Main St. @ Somerset St. for a reckless driver. Officers contacted and interviewed the driver.
2:14 PM – Officers responded to FM 2790 N @ Main St. for an 18 wheeler oversized load stuck on the railroad tracks. The driver was able to get off the tracks just prior to the passing of a train.
6:40 PM – Officers responded to the 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a female that requested a courtesy ride.
7:28 PM – Officers responded to the St. Andrews Church for a report of a female being followed. Upon arrival the female was not located.
9:53 PM – Officer responded to the Little Caesars for an unruly customer.
11:36 PM – Officer responded to the 16800 Blk. of IH 35 to assist Lytle VFD with a reported commercial structure fire. Units arrived to find a debris pile on fire behind the building.
August 19
10:25 AM – Officers responded to 14600 Blk. of FM 2790 E to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy to be on the lookout for a Ford pickup that was involved in an assault with bodily injury. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and detained subject until Atascosa unit arrived.
12:29 PM – Officers responded to Naomi’s Dinner for a report of a male subject that was trying to open the front door. Officers were unable to locate the individual.
12:35 PM – Officers responded to Main St. at McDonald St. for a report of a welfare check on a male subject. Officers arrived and checked Main St., McDonald St., Railroad St. and Adams St. but were unable to locate the individual.
2:29 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a lost wallet. The wallet was later recovered.
3:50 PM – Officers responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of a disturbance. A 15 YO male juvenile had destroyed a chair inside the home. The juvenile had settled down and the father declined to press charges.
7:57 PM – Officer responded to Laredo St. at Somerset St. for a report of a subject in the area on a bike wearing a mask. Officer located the subject, all was fine.
