Lytle Police Report April 30-May 6


April 30

8:38 AM –Officer responded to Camino Real Center for a report of a resident claiming to have been assaulted by a family member. Officer spoke with victim who stated was sexually assaulted in Cotulla. Victim was referred to La Salle Co. SO.
10:10 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of a disturbance involving a renter who cut a lock off of an arrears storage unit. Renter agreed to pay for the damages and settled the bill.
11:28 AM – Officer responded to 200 Luckey Rd. and talked to complainant in reference to a theft that was reported to Atascosa Co. and further stated the suspect may be in our jurisdiction.
12:43 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store and spoke with manager who stated a subject had a criminal trespass warning and was at property. Officer made contact with subject and advised he would be arrested for criminal trespass if he was caught on HEB property again.
1:50 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to unauthorized charges against her checking account. Case under investigation.
2:01 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of illegal dumping in the Valero dumpster. The suspect vehicle departed prior to officer’s arrival
2:45 PM – Officer responded to Live Oak St. at Norvell St. for a report of ATVs being driven on the street. Officer was unable to locate.
4:17 PM – Officer responded to CR 681 and talked to complainant in reference an individual who she felt may retaliate against her daughter. Complainant just wanted the police to be aware of the individual.
5:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a welfare check.
May 1
7:45 AM – Officers responded to Blume Drive and recovered stolen property.
9:30 AM – Officer responded to Annie’s Pet Grooming to unlock a vehicle.
11:46 AM – Officer responded to Miller St. at 5th St. to assist Natalia PD with a pursuit.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a welfare check of unrestrained children in a vehicle in the drive thru. Officer was unable to locate.
May 2
12:00 AM – Officer responded HEB Plus for a report that there might be a kidnapped victim at the HEB Plus or the HEB Fuel pumps. The kidnapping of an adult female occurred in Medina Co. Office searched the area, unable to locate suspect.
8:53 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N at CR 6710 for a report of a suspicious water tanker connected to a city hydrant. Turned out to be a contractor hired by the city.
9:15 AM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S. Somerset St. for a welfare check on a female that overdosed. The female departed with a family member prior to officer’s arrival.
9:35 AM – Officer responded to 100 CR 6843 for a report of a natural death.
10:53 AM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Pecan St. for a report of a theft of a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe.
11:27 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a stolen 20 qt. Kodi cooler and brisket. Total estimated loss $205.96.
2:57 PM – Officer observed a potential solicitor at Exxon and advised him that a permit is required by the city. Subject agreed to stop and obtain necessary permit.
4:20 PM – Officer responded to Valero to unlock a vehicle.
5:00 PM – Officers responded to 13900 Pearsall Rd. for a report of a train vs. pedestrian accident. Lytle PD arrived and searched the area finding the body of a female that was deceased. The scene was turned over to Bexar Co. SO Deputies for investigation.
May 3
1:45 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Norvell St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and was registered to an address in Lytle.
11:05 AM – Officer was flagged by a citizen while at HEB Plus who reported seeing a blue vehicle abandoned on Railroad St. with its door open and papers scattered about. Officer searched from south end of street and about 2 miles into Bexar Co. but was unable to locate.
2:07 PM – Officers responded to Hwy. 132 at Gray St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to Five Points for a report of an alarm.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a snake in the parking lot. Lytle Animal Control Officer arrived and took possession of the reptile.
8:30 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a theft of a firearm. It was determined no theft had occurred.
10:20 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of IH 35 NB to meet a complainant. Officer escorted the individual to the Pilot at IH 35 and 1604 to meet Bexar Co. SO Deputies as incident occurred in Bexar Co.
May 4
7:00 AM – A Motorcycle that was stolen from Creek St. on 4/16/18 was recovered by the Portland Police Dept. Officer was advised the motorcycle was recovered after a pursuit that ended with an arrest.
7:51 AM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of N. Benton St. for a report of a burglary of a vehicle. Nothing was taken however, the ignition switch was punched and heavily damaged.
8:10 AM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of Blume Dr. for a report of a burglary of a vehicle. No damage was done to the vehicle and nothing was taken.
11:28 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a beer run. An unknown Hispanic male stole 3 cases of Budweiser valued at $48. Suspect fled in a red, possibly a Dodge, pick-up truck towards IH 35. Officer was unable to locate.
11:50 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report unauthorized debit card transaction to his Lytle State Bank checking account.
2:49 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Lake St. for a report of an alarm. Officer spoke with resident who explained he accidentally activated the alarm and but forgot the code to deactivate.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. and talked to complainant in regards to a vehicle that had gone through overnight. Complainant advised that only a pair of prescription glasses were missing. No report was needed, complainant only wanted officers to be aware.
8:34 PM – SO Officer was flagged down in reference to a vehicle disabled in high water FM 463 at Medina Co. line to assist Medina. Officer made location and noted the driver was out and safe.
May 5
12:30 PM – Officer responded to 63000 Blk. of Hwy. 132 for a report of a sinkhole on the east side of the highway. Lytle Public Works was notified.
4:18 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of an unknown person that keyed a vehicle hood while complainant was inside the store.
4:46 PM – Officer responded to Hwy. 132 at Prairie St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
8:05 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a possible intoxicated person. Officer arrived on scene and witnessed the suspect get into the passenger side of a vehicle and leave the premises.
May 6
12:01 AM – Officer responded to 3800 Blk. of Hwy. 132 N for a report of a disturbance between a male and female. Upon arrival, officer made contact with the female who advised she was in a verbal disturbance with her boyfriend. Officer did not make contact with the male, as the suspect did not want to give information of his whereabouts.
4:15 AM – Officer made contact with a suspicious male on a bicycle at 15000 Blk. of Main St. All was fine.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
5:40 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Gate St. for a report of a civil matter – property dispute.
