Lytle Police Report April 16-22


April 16
4:30 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a welfare check on a female and three children. Officer made contact with the home owner and was advised that the female and three children were not at residence and were staying at a hotel in San Antonio.
12:35 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of N. Pine St. for an alarm.
4:11 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a two vehicle crash.
6:35 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a two vehicle crash.
7:40 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Creek St. for a report of an unknown person(s) who stole Harley Davidson motorcycle out of complainant’s residence. Theft occurred between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
9:03 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of a missing juvenile. Officer arrived and met with complainant who stated his 12 YO daughter had not been back home since she left for the park at around 4:00 pm.
April 17
4:00 AM – Officer responded to 3200 FM 3175 to assist with a courtesy ride for a female.
4:20 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. The male party departed prior to officer’s arrival.
7:14 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of returned missing juvenile who was in the company of another missing juvenile from Atascosa Co. Officer spoke with the 12 YO female who stated she got lost in Twin Lakes last night when it got dark and that her and her 14 YO female friend walked around until daylight when they were able to find their way back to the residence.
9:30 AM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. to assist Animal Control with a report of an aggressive dog in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
10:30 AM – Officer responded to First Baptist Church and provided a courtesy ride to a female.
11:30 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home and talked to complainant in regards to a resident having a disagreement with a fellow patient.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to 14000 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a disabled truck tractor semi-trailer. The driver indicated that help was on the way.
6:42 PM – While off duty, officer received a call from complainant who stated his daughter received several blocked calls and caller stated there was going to be a shooting the next day at school.
8:25 PM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
9:35 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a possible intoxicated driver traveling northbound on Main St. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
April 18
11:15 AM – Officer responded to Railhead Café and made contact with complainant who turned in found property.
12:32 PM – Officers responded to Bill Miller BBQ for a report of a passing motorist witnessing two men fighting on the side of the road. A 69-year-old male subject and a 39-year-old male subject were both cited for Assault by Contact.
2:42 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a report of a civil matter – property dispute.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to N. Benton St. at Laredo St. for a report of a stray puppy wandering around the Primary School pick-up/drop off point.
April 19
7:35 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious person asleep in a chair. Officer located subject and gave him a courtesy ride to LaCoste.
9:23 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report a banner owned by St. Andrew’s Church that was stolen off her chain-link fence at her Main St. residence. Total estimated loss $200.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate.
12:53 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Laredo St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle taking pictures of the Lytle Elementary. Officer arrived and determined it was the local newspaper taking photographs for a story.
7:25 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s P-Lot for a report of a disturbance. Officer made contact with both parties.
April 20
4:39 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a fallen injury.
11:55 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
1:00 PM – Officer released property to rightful owner.
7:20 PM – Officer responded to Lynda’s Trade Mart for a report of a disturbance. Officer made contact with half of the party. All was verbal.
April 21
4:04 AM – Officer responded to Luckey Rd. at FM 2790 to assist Atascosa Co. with a suspicious male.
11:35 AM – Traffic stop at Lytle-Somerset St. and S. Somerset St. resulted in the driver being cited for Expired Registration, No Insurance and Display Fictitious, Altered or Obscured Registration. Vehicle was impounded.
3:28 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S at Exit 131 for a report of a reckless driver. Officer located the vehicle and spoke with the driver.
10:34 PM – Officer responded to Pinn Rd. at FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with shots being fired in the area.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a civil matter.
April 22
3:10 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
6:13 AM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and made contact with an employee who activated the alarm but did not know the disarming code.
1:11 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. to unlock a vehicle.
4:20 PM – Officer responded to Subway and talked to complainant who wanted to report two residents from the assisted living home on Greenwood Rd. walking off and coming to Lytle to panhandle.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a welfare check on an elderly/disabled person.
7:30 PM – Officer responded to Metro PCS for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
