Lytle Police Report


August 6

1:44 AM – While on patrol, officer noticed a man on the frontage road of FM 3175 at IH 35 N Frontage. Officer spoke to subject who stated he had ran out of gas and parked his vehicle at the Community National Bank. Officer provided the man a courtesy ride to HEB C-Store and purchased fuel for him and drove him back to his vehicle.
10:11 AM – Officers responded to Main St. at FM 2790 E for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:30 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center and transported a male subject to San Antonio Behavioral Hospital as per court order.
7:36 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of a suspicious vehicle taking water from a fire hydrant.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious male riding a bike in the area. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
11:14 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. The female party left the property.
August 7
8:30 AM – Officer responded to Hacienda Jalisciense for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:50 AM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of a male sleeping in a vehicle. Officer arrived and spoke with the male who advised he was just resting. No signs of distress or medical issues.
10:20 AM – Officer responded to Fitness 4 Life to unlock a vehicle.
2:24 PM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank to unlock a vehicle.
7:35 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a report of a disturbance between 2 sisters. A juvenile sister departed without permission from the vehicle they were occupying. The juvenile was later located at Hacienda Jalisciense.
August 8
2:33 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Dental for a report of a suspicious vehicle at location. The vehicle was parked at closed business. Officer arrived and found the vehicle to be unoccupied.
9:50 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and reported that she works at Lytle Nursing Home and wanted to report that a ring was stolen from complainant’s purse while she was at work. Total estimated value $300.
1:18 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at FM 2790 N Railroad Crossing for a request from Union Pacific that the construction equipment being used to repave the road be moved a safe distance away from the tracks. Officer spoke with foreman who had already moved the equipment away.
2:45 PM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank and provided security escort to HEB Plus manager during transport of cash from the bank to the store.
3:43 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a welfare check of a man in a wheelchair. Officer located the man in front of HEB C-Store. The man was okay and was asking people for a ride to the Cricket Store and then back to his house.
7:07 PM – Officer responded to JD’s Small Engine to assist Atascosa EMS with a combative patient that required medical transport.
7:50 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a goat in the area. Officer was able to make contact with the owner who put it back in the yard.
August 9
11:25 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. to unlock a vehicle.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious red Chevy S10 parked that has been there for several months and has no license plate. Officer located the vehicle and ran the VIN number and found the VIN from Georgia but the vehicle was not reported stolen. No signs of criminal activity.
4:41 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus area for a report of a man in a wheelchair asking for people for a ride. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
August 10
8:22 AM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St. at Lazy J Trail and assisted a disabled motorist.
10:21 AM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of an assault that took place between patients. The suspect fled the scene.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and made contact with a suspicious man riding a bike across the parking lot. Officer talked to the male subject who advised he was out applying for a job in the area.
2:25 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two vehicle crash.
5:05 PM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of an alarm.
9:05 PM – Officer responded to 400 High Meadow Dr. to assist Atascosa Co. with an open door at a residence.
9:30 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Oak St. for a report of a suspicious male in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:30 PM – Officer made contact with a male individual at 15300 Blk. of Main St. Officer gave the male a courtesy ride to Days Inn.
August 11
12:45 AM – Officer responded to First Baptist Church to assist a disabled motorist.
1:27 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to assist a motorist with a jump start. The vehicle had other mechanical issues and officer provided the motorist a courtesy ride to Southwind Subdivision.
4:30 AM – Officer responded to Quicksilver and checked on a vehicle with the interior lights on. The vehicle was secured.
11:30 AM – Officer attended a pre back-to-school function at Tots to Teens Pediatric Dentistry. Officer chatted with citizens and assisted patrons in safely crossing the street to the designated parking lot.
1:31 PM – Officer talked to complainant in regards to a couple in a small vehicle at the parking lot of Valero with a small child on the female’s passenger’s lap. Officer located the vehicle at 14700 Blk. of Main St. and issued a warning citation to the driver.
1:50 PM – Officer responded to 20000 Blk. of Benton City Rd. for a welfare check on a female that had refused treatment after being transported to Camino Real Crisis Center.
6:35 PM – Cpl. Robison provided a courtesy ride to Haven for Hope to a stranded female.
August 12
12:25 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger to unlock a vehicle.
1:30 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a juvenile.
9:01 AM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of a disturbance between two customers. Upon arrival, officer spoke with an elderly male who was upset and yelling about the total cost of the fuel he pumped. It was determined that he had selected the highest grade of fuel. After attempting to speak with subject, officer advised him to leave as he did not want to stop yelling.
10:50 AM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive In to unlock a vehicle.
4:13 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
8:33 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a two vehicle crash.
