Luann Marie Fairbanks Mangold, of Atascosa, entered eternal rest on April 27, 2018 at her home at the age of 67 years.
The only child of Ellis Laurence Fairbanks and Floy Luan Hatfield Fairbanks, Luann was born August 23, 1950 in San Antonio. In 1968, she graduated from Highlands High School and later graduated from Draughon’s Business School. She worked for American General, working her way up to Marketing Administrator Supervisor, retiring from AIG. On July 8, 1972, she married Rodney Louis Mangold in St. Louis Catholic Church. Luann was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Castro Colonies Heritage Association.
Luann was preceded in death by her beloved parents.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 46 years, Rodney Mangold of Atascosa; two daughters, Loralee Dawn Yarbro and husband, Adam, of Poteet, and Roseann Lynn Reyes of Uvalde; three granddaughters, Nicole Mae Reyes, Addison Yarbro and Ashlee Yarbro.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
