LSB to be honored as Purple Heart Bank


Everyone is cordially invited to attend a ceremony at the Lytle State Bank on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. as the Texas State Commander Jon Lunkwicz of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will proclaim LSB as a “Purple Heart Bank”. The purpose is to honor Lytle State Bank for their support to combat wounded veterans, and their families.
“The Purple Heart is awarded in the name of the President of the United States to any member of an Armed Force who has been wounded or killed. Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) is a Congressionally Chartered Veterans Service Organization for Combat Wounded Veterans. The mission of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is to foster an environment of good will and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families. The purpose would be to honor and recognize all Lytle State Bank employees that are veterans and customers of your bank that are veterans,” stated Jon Lunkwicz, State Commander, Department of Texas, Military Order of the Purple Heart.
“We are excited and humbled to accept this honor as a Purple Heart Bank, and we cordially invite all customers and everyone in the surrounding communities to stop by at 10 a.m. for the ceremony and refreshments,” stated Randy Garcia, LSB President.
