Juvenile suspects facing serious charges in string of stolen cars around Devine

Police believe a group of juveniles are behind a string of vehicle thefts occurring in Devine over the past couple weeks. Charges are pending in this ongoing investigation, according to Devine PD, who says four juvenile suspects will be facing some serious charges including Theft as well as Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
On Tuesday July 17, two vehicles were reported stolen from Coker Avenue in Devine. One was found wrecked out in Medina County, and the other was recovered by police in Corpus Christi.
This Tuesday, July 24 two more vehicles were reported stolen. A truck was stolen from Hickory Highway in Devine, and Happy Home Daycare was broken into and the van was stolen.
Later that Tuesday, authorities recovered one of those vehicles in the Bandera area. Three more vehicles were reported stolen that day in the Bandera area as well.
