Local honey that is produced by some of the finest bees in the area and local honey farmers is available right here in Devine. The Maldonado, Geyer, and Park families have been in the honey business for many years, several generations.
Locally some of the above honey can be found in jars of all sizes at The Devine News office, WOG Supply, Murphy’s Meat, Chayitos and Morales Feed to name a few.
“We package it in all sizes, some like the jars with the honey comb in it and some like the little bears,” said Gracie Maldonado. “It is good for you.”
Locally produced honey from fields in the area is believed to be helpful in building up immunities to local allergens.
