Cowboy Pest Control owner Marvin Ripps is excited to announce business is growing. Ripps recently bought Mr. Dale Frazier’s pest control business, and Mr. Frazier is pleased to know his long-time customers will be well taken care of by another small, locally owned business with good old-fashioned customer service that will “treat customers right.”
“I turned 81 last December,” Frazier said with a smile, “so I figured it was finally time to retire. I’ve got plenty of work to do around the ranch, and hey, I might even get to go fishing now and then!”
Cowboy Pest Control was a one-man show when Ripps started his own business in Devine in 2012, and just a few short years later he now has four technicians to meet the needs of his many happy customers.
Ripps commented, “Mr. Frazier has a lot of long-time customers he’s taken care of for many years and that’s something to be proud of. They are good people, and I am looking forward to meeting them all as our company grows.”
“I love my job,” Ripps adds with a chuckle, “I love bugs to death!”
In a letter, Mr. Frazier thanks his customers: “I started in exterminating in 1961 in San Antonio, then in eight years at Kelly AFB, then 20 years in the fire department at Kelly AFB. With lots of time off, I went to work with Harold Warrick. We did termite work, tree spraying and house spraying for many years.
