Four Arabian powerlifters qualify for Regionals

The Devine Arabian Powerlifting team competed in its last qualifying meet in Poth last Saturday. Some of the competitors will advance to regionals to be held in Carrizo Springs on March 3rd.
“It has been a great and very successful year,” stated Head Coach Paul Gomez. “The girls competed well and, since we have everybody coming back next year, I think the future looks bright for this team.”
Results: Paige Coté-2nd place in the 181 lb class with a total of 850 lbs, Journey Shoemake-4th in the 123 lb class with a total of 610 lbs, Jessie Ramirez-5th in the 148 lb class with a total of 655 lbs, Khali Key-3rd in the 198 lb class with a total of 705 lbs, and Felicity Diaz-3rd in the 220 lb class with a total of 745 lbs.
Regional Qualifiers: Journey Shoemake 123 lb class, Jessie Ramirez 148 lb class, Paige Coté 181 lb class, and Freshman Khali Key in the 198 lb class.
