The driver of this car sadly lost his life in this terrible accident . 
According to witnesses, he was ejected after running off the road and into this pole and he perished in the fiery crash this past Monday, December 10 around 4:25 pm.
“He was headed south on I-35 at a high rate of speed,” said Devine Fire Chief Mike Walker. “When he hit that pole it pushed the engine all the way to the backseat, and it most likely exploded on impact. It was really sad.”
A passerby commented, “I was headed north on I-35 near the weigh station when I saw a big cloud of smoke,” Brenda Fernandez said. “I pulled over and dialed 911. It was really bad. It just made me sick.”
