Enrique “Rick” Daniel Rivera passed away on April 2, 2018 at his home in Live Oak at the age of 55 years. He was born August 22, 1962 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Juan Rivera and Alicia Gonzales Zepeda. He was a graduate of Medina Valley High School. Rick owned and operated CNS Cleaning Service.
Survivors include his mother, Alicia Zepeda of Castroville; his partner, Greg Seelman of Live Oak; siblings, Juan (Florinda) Rivera, Jr., Erma Rivera both of Castroville and Fernando Rivera of San Antonio; nephews, Nicholas Rivera and Nathan Olson; nieces, Anastacia Rivera and Jennifer Rivera. His father preceded him in death.
Visitation was Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection was Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
