Dorothy Marie Kolafa Keller

Dorothy Marie Kolafa Keller, of La Coste, passed away on January 4, 2019 in Castroville at the age of 87 years. She was born February 13, 1931 in East Bernard, Texas, one of seven children of Charles Kolafa and Martha Janis Kolafa.
Dorothy married Carlysle “Corky” Jerome Keller, Sr. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. They enjoyed many wonderful years of marriage before he passed away on May 24, 1984. She was a busy wife and mother, and lovingly took care of her family and their home. Dorothy enjoyed attending all of the school activities and sporting events that her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were involved in. She was very proud of all of them.
Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Medina Valley VFW Post 8134 Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and infant son; sisters, Helen (Jerome) Rihn, Julie Mae Zotyka; brothers, Johnie (Betty) Kolafa, Tony (Cecilia) Kolafa; in-laws, Lloyd Keller and E.J. (Roselle) Keller, Jr.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Brenda Keller of La Coste, Steve and Cindy Keller of Castroville, Keith Keller, Sr. of Abilene, Andy and Janna Keller of La Coste; grandchildren, Jesse Keller, Joseph Keller, Jalynn Keller, Stephney (Sebastian) Envi, Keith Keller, Jr., Joshua (Courtney) Keller, Paul Keller, Danny (Dawnda) Keller, Jedediah (Shannon) Keller, Ann-Marie Keller, Noah Keller, Payton Keller; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo (Doris) Kolafa, Charles Kolafa, Jr.; in-laws, Ladgie Zotyka, Franklin (Irene) Keller, Tessie Keller; and as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 8, 2019 starting at 3:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
