DMS to present UIL One Act Play

The Devine Middle School UIL Competition play entitled Good-bye to the Clown by Ernest Kinoy published by Samuel French will be presented on Thursday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the Devine Student Activity Center. Admission is free. Come and support the Devine OAP team and enjoy a poignant play about a little girl facing a tough situation.
Peggy (Mikaela Johnson) is a nine year old little girl who is having trouble with an imaginary Clown (Jon Martin) getting her into trouble at school. Her teacher Miss Erwin (Corinne Fowler) and the principal Dr. Benson (Malachi Jackson) try to figure out what is causing her sudden bad behavior. When her Mother (Madison Rodriguez) and Uncle George (Trey Rangel) find out what’s going on at school the situation comes to a head at home as well.
Crew members include: Brooke Schott (Stage Manager), Jon Guardiola (lights), Jesslyn Sanchez (sound), Andrew Kohlleppel (sound effects), Shelby Josliln (Prop Manager). Alternates are: Harper Parson, Jacob Hicks and Kayley Carillo.
