Members of the Devine Athletic Middle School staff have announced plans on dates and times to release clothes to those involved in athletics for the 2017-2018 season.
Fillys
The Filly athletic department will distribute the clothes on Thursday, August 24 in the middle school gym. The 8th grade will report from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and the 7th grade from 3:00-5:00 p.m. This will be the only time that workout clothes will be distributed before school starts.
Parents who have daughters in both grade levels may pick up the clothes at either time slot so you only have to make one trip. All parents and athletes will also be receiving the Arabian/Filly athletic handbook which parents will be required to read, sign and turn in so the required forms for your daughter can be filed ahead of time.
There will also be a mandatory parent meeting on August 24 for all parents and or guardians for all 7th grade athletic girls and for the parents of any 7th or 8th grade girl that will be new to athletics this season. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the gym following the completion of the clothes hand-out.
Colts
The Colt athletic department will hand out their clothes on the same date from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the middle school gym.
Remember, if you have not turned in a physical for the upcoming year please bring it to the clothes hand out. Athletes are not allowed to work out or participate until physicals are on file.
