Devine Superintendent issues statement regrading 4 students

Devine ISD held a Special Meeting this past October 19. The board was in closed session for 2 hours, and upon convening and they made the following motion:


“Based upon the information presented to us in closed session,  we state publicly that we support the actions taken to date by district administrators, and to request the superintendent to review the statement issued today by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office and take appropriate action in accordance with the District’s Student Code of Conduct.  Motion carried unanimously, 7-0.”

Superintendent Scott Sostarich then read a letter, which is below. Five reporters and a few  people left in the audience  at that time. The meeting concluded immediately.
