Devine Police Report Oct. 6-11

Oct. 6
1:16 PM – Complainant at SWT Farm and Ranch reported a male subject was causing a disturbance. The male left prior to officer’s arrival.
2:00 PM – The School Resource Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a K9 sweep of Devine High School.
4:15 PM – Complainant reported a heavy-set Hispanic male laying down on the ground next to a pallet at Savannah’s Car Wash. Unable to locate.
8:15 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of Bowman Ave. in reference to possible shots or fireworks in the area. Unable to locate.
Oct. 7
1:45 PM – Suspicious vehicle and person on location at Security State Bank. Officer made contact with a male subject, who thought the bank building was open.
5:37 PM – Complainant turned in a debit card. The card was returned to its owner.
6:00 PM – Officers assisted with traffic control for 5K run.
8:37 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on W. Colonial Pkwy. The juvenile male driver was found to be in possession of an alcoholic beverage and drug paraphernalia and was cited and released to an adult.
11:15 PM – Officer observed a vehicle racing in the 500 block of Bowman Ave. The juvenile male driver was also found to be in possession of an alcoholic beverage. The subject was jailed.
Oct. 8
3:35 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Hwy. 132. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
2:00 PM – Officers assisted DPS with a major accident on IH-35.
5:02 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
9:24 PM – A female subject in the 400 block of W. Benton Ave. advised her daughter was out of control. The daughter was placed under emergency detention and transported by AMR to University Hospital.
11:22 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. The female driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited and released.
Oct. 9
12:46 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on W. College Ave. The female driver and two male passengers were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and were cited and released.
2:28 AM – A male subject left his backpack at Gas Go Mart and it was located by an officer. Drug paraphernalia was found inside, and the male subject was cited and released.
2:56 PM – Schertz PD advised officers to check Devine Trailer Park for a stolen pickup truck. The vehicle was located and impounded.
Oct. 10
4:13 PM – Complainant advised his parked vehicle was struck while parked at Walmart.
11:51 PM – Officers attempted to serve a warrant for Failure to Appear on a female subject in the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. The subject fled on foot, but was arrested by the Frio County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 12.
Oct. 11
12:35 AM – Loud music was coming from a home in the 500 block of Mesquite Ave. Homeowner agreed to turn music down.
2:29 PM – Male subject at the front door of home in the 400 block of Webb Ave. Subject was identified.
10:37 PM – A female subject in the 100 block of E. Coker Ave. was placed under emergency detention and transported to Southwest General Hospital.
