Devine Police Report Oct. 5-11


Oct. 5
12:10 AM – Officers dispatched to a business in the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a person sitting by the back door. A male subject was using Wi-Fi. No action taken.
12:20 AM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. in reference to a maroon pickup that pulled into a driveway and then drove off. Unable to locate; all was okay.
1:05 PM – Officer saw a male subject walking in the street in Onion Ave. Officer thought the subject was wanted; the subject didn’t have any warrants.
7:29 PM – A male subject and a female subject in the 100 block of W. Moore Ave. were cited and released for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
8:10 PM – Officer dispatched to the 800 block of Warhorse Dr. in reference to a minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Officer made location; no alcoholic beverage found.
8:15 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a car following a person walking. Officer made location; unable to locate.
Oct. 6
12:37 PM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a physical disturbance between a male and female in the 600 block of Pearson. The male fled prior to officer’s arrival. Officer assisted with searching area for male suspect; unable to locate.
9:04 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of Fay Ave. in reference to a complainant hearing a single gunshot in the area. Unable to locate.
Oct. 7
1:02 AM – A male subject was knocking on the windows outside a residence in the 700 block of Devine Dr. No contact between the female subject and male subject.
1:38 AM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Mesquite Ave. in reference to complainant’s ex-husband knocking on doors and trying to enter the residence.
5:15 AM – Two Bexar County felony warrants were served on a male subject in the 400 block of N. Teel Dr. Subject was also booked for public intoxication.
7:00 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Transportation Dr. reported an unknown subject threw a rock through the kitchen window.
9:27 AM – Complainant reported a Hispanic male wearing blue jeans with a backpack walking along IH-35. The subject was walking slumped over, possibly intoxicated or tired. Officer searched the area; unable to locate.
12:16 PM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Hayden Ave. in reference to a dark Cadillac with no license plates driving up and down the street. Unable to locate.
5:00 PM – Officer provided traffic control for a motor vehicle on fire on IH-35.
8:30 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Gutierrez in reference to a boyfriend and girlfriend arguing. Officers made location and kept the peace.
9:22 PM – A residence in the 900 block of W. Hondo Ave. was entered. Two TVs, money, and miscellaneous tools were taken from the residence.
Oct. 8
12:32 AM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Enterprise Ave. in reference to a male subject on location after visiting hours. The subject had been at the location the previous afternoon causing problems. The subject agreed to leave.
1:25 AM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. in reference to a male subject on location who had been off his meds. The male subject was voluntarily transported to Southwest General Hospital by EMS.
3:28 AM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Gutierrez in reference to a verbal argument between a male subject and a female subject. Parties separated.
3:00 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Enterprise Ave. in reference to a male subject coming back to the facility. The subject had caused problems the night before.
3:00 PM – A Medina County warrant was served on a male subject in the 600 block of Hwy. 132. The subject was jailed.
8:05 PM – A complainant in the 500 block of Libold Dr. turned in an iPhone she found in San Antonio. Contact was made with the owner, who resides in Austin.
11:33 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. reported two male subjects standing in the area. All was okay.
Oct. 9
1:11 AM – Officer assisted Natalia PD with a disturbance between two female subjects in the 20000 FM 471.
1:35 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. advised an elderly male drove to the location nude and advised someone had broken into his residence and his wife was still in the home. Officers made location to the residence. All was okay; the male subject was possibly in the early stages of diminished mental capacity.
3:36 AM – An elderly male subject was knocking on the entrance door in the 100 block of Enterprise Ave. The subject was transported to Southwest General Hospital. A service dog was left at residence.
12:10 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of O’Neal Dr. reported a white Ford Ranger with a black toolbox fishtailing on the road, tearing it up.
4:50 PM – Verbal disturbance between two male subjects on FM 3176.
6:41 PM – Officer dispatched to Devine High School in reference to five iPhones and a Samsung Galaxy that were stolen from the locker room. The phones were recovered by Devine PD. $15.00 in cash was also stolen from a wallet in the locker room. Charges pending.
Oct. 10
9:20 AM – A red Ford F-150 was keyed at DHS.
10:58 AM – Emergency detention for an adult female in the 200 block of W. Hondo Ave. The subject was taken to University Hospital.
1:00 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of Devine Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male and female. The male subject was seen on foot. The female subject left in a silver vehicle towards Warhorse Stadium. The officer located and made contact with the male subject. All was okay.
6:48 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Colonial Pkwy. A male driver was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
7:55 PM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Transportation Dr. in reference to an intoxicated male on the roadway. Unable to locate.
Oct. 11
4:15 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Ross Dr. reported a small sedan-type vehicle pulled into the location, which is vacant. Upon arrival, another vehicle was on location and complainant advised the vehicle does not belong. Officers made contact with registered owners. Father advised he will try to contact his son.
10:10 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Devine Dr. advised a person on foot calling out a pet’s name. The subject ran away and got in a truck when asked what they were doing.
