Devine Police Report June 9-15

June 9
6:12 PM – Complainant on Rosewood advised BBQ pit was stolen from yard.
8:05 PM – Complainant advised truck all over the roadway on IH 35 northbound and mile marker 121.
June 10
12:00 AM – Officer investigated female parked at Warhorse Stadium; all okay.
1:00 AM – Complainant advised shots fired in the area of 200 block of Moore Avenue.
2:10 AM – Officer pulled over vehicle in 1200 block of Hondo Avenue for traffic violation. Subject found to have active possible marijuana warrant – jailed.
3:30 AM – Complainant advised suspicious activity of person on a bike in the 500 block of Devine Drive.
8:19 PM – Two male subjects in 100 block of IH 35 South cited for theft less than $100 and released.
June 11
5:30 AM – Officer assisted MCSO with disturbance in the county.
4:20 PM – Officer provided cover and support for burn patient in 200 block of Dixon Drive.
10:04 PM – Juvenile female in 400 block of Karen Ct. informed officers she wanted to stab herself with knife. Subject transported to University Hospital Pediatric ER by police.
June 12
1:30 AM – AMR requested officers to assist with traffic control for medical emergency on FM 463, ½ mile East of Devine.
1:24 PM – Complainant in 500 block of Gutierrez advised of disturbance between female and male.
2:34 PM – Complainant in 300 block of Park Avenue notified by IRS via mail that social security number had been used by unknown person(s) for employment.
4:44 PM – Officer made location in 300 block of Renfro observed physical contact for assault of female victim. Male suspect was arrested for interference with emergency call and continuous family violence.
June 13
1:57 PM – Lytle PD advised an orange box trailer (18 wheeler) swerving in the lanes on IH 35 southbound at the city limits.
June 14
10:02 AM – Complainant in 600 block of Windy Knoll Drive advised a license plate was stolen off parked vehicle by person(s) unknown.
2:04 PM – Complainant in 300 block of College Avenue advised smell of smoke but no fire, heating system was found to be causing the odor.
4:34 PM – Complainant advised his mother left her wallet in 500 block of Hondo Avenue.
10:03 PM – Officer assisted MCSO with major accident on IH 35 northbound at mile marker 119 where pedestrian was hit by vehicle.
12:45 PM – Complainant in 400 block of Webb Avenue advised male on location was causing problems, however subject left while officers were enroute.
June 15
10:15 AM – Complainant in 700 block of Zig Zag Ave. reported criminal mischief to vehicle, had damage to driver’s side and broken headlight.
11:55 AM – Assisted DPS in stopping motorcycle speeding in access of 100 MPH at Exxon.
