Devine Police Report June 24-29

June 24
8:15 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Renfro reported a loud “bang” in the area. Officer patrolled the area and spoke to a resident, who reported no lights in the area were working. The resident stated they would contact the electric company. A transformer probably blew.
12:53 PM – Officer helped the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a client from Redman’s Boarding Home who left the property. Officer made contact with the client, who requested EMS due to chest pain. AMR made location and transported the client to the Nix.
6:30 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Pilgrim Dr. reported the theft of $10.00 in cash from their residence. A family member is suspected.
8:00 PM – Complainant in the 800 block of N. Teel Dr. reported a brown truck with a ladder all over the road. The vehicle was on private property. All was okay.
June 25
5:57 AM – Complainant reported a subject driving all over the roadway on SH IH-35 near mile marker 121. Vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation, and the male driver was found to have a suspended license. The subject was cited and released.
6:50 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Park Ave. advised she heard what sounded like a gunshot near her residence. Officer searched the area; unable to locate. All was okay.
3:35 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Corley Dr. reported a male relative causing a disturbance with the family. All was okay.
7:20 PM – Complainant reported a black Volkswagen all over the roadway on NB IH-35 near mile marker 121. Unable to locate.
June 26
12:18 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
3:34 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Hwy. 132. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
9:43 AM – Complainant at Pizza Hut reported a power washer was taken from a storage room. The power washer was valued at $250.00.
3:34 PM – Complainant found and turned in a black and blue nylon velcro wallet containing a credit card and cash.
3:53 PM – Complainant at Heritage Residential Care Center reported a male patient was out of control.
7:21 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. advised people at the location were popping fireworks. Officers advised residents of the City Ordinance on fireworks.
June 27
11:10 AM – Complainant at EJ’s Drive Thru reported a counterfeit $20.00 bill.
12:43 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Rosemary reported her daughter’s ex-boyfriend came on the property and tired to assault her daughter.
1:25 PM – A male subject in the 500 block of W. Moore Ave. reportedly assaulted his girlfriend. Visible injury was observed on the girlfriend. The male subject was jailed for assault bodily injury family violence.
6:55 PM – Complainant reported a white four-door vehicle driving on and off the roadway on NB IH-35 near mile marker 115. Unable to locate. All was okay.
June 28
12:10 AM – Officers assisted a DPS trooper with an arrested subject on SB IH-35 near mile marker 120. Officers stood by with the arrested subject’s vehicle until the subject’s wife made location to pick up the vehicle.
11:44 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden found a bicycle. Complainant will keep the bike at her location in case owner reports it missing.
11:49 AM – Complainant reported a small red pickup truck swerving between vehicles and also driving slowly on SB IH-35 near mile marker 128.
1:26 PM – Officer changed a driver’s flat tire on SB IH-35 near mile marker 123.
8:57 PM – Complainant reported a white 18-wheeler driving reckless on SB IH-35 near mile marker 126 and almost hitting several vehicles. Unable to locate.
June 29
1:39 AM – Complainant reported a white sedan going off the roadway several times on SB IH-35 near mile marker 127 and almost causing several accidents. The female driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
11:40 AM – Complainant on Corley Dr. reported his 13-year-old nephew arguing with his mother.
