Feb. 2
1:01 AM – Subject struck power pole and knocked out power to majority of city. AEP made location and vehicle was towed.
2:06 PM – Male subject laying down in vehicle on side of the road on SB IH-35. All was okay, subject was changing tire.
4:11 PM – Complainant was advised that a red crew cab pickup pulled into building. Subject identified by police and was an employee. All was okay.
8:35 PM – Complainant reported a loud noise in the 300 block of Hayden Ave. Officer patrolled the area; all was okay.
9:55 PM – Complainant in the 1100 block of S. Warhorse Dr. reported strange noises coming from the back yard.
10:43 PM – Officers assisted with traffic control for a major accident on SB Ih-35.
Feb. 3
12:48 AM – Reference to a cow in the roadway on IH-35. Unable to locate.
2:18 PM – Disturbance between employees in a restaurant in the 1900 block of Hwy. 132. All was okay.
5:17 PM – Complainant reported a blue Mitsubishi all over SB IH-35. Unable to locate.
9:14 PM – Found set of keys with 1 1/2 hydrocodone pills in container on keychain found in front of complainant’s residence. Owner of keys came to PD and provided valid prescription for the pills and took custody of keys.
9:49 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of S. Wilson Dr. Narcotics were located, and a male subject was jailed.
Feb. 4
6:55 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of E. Herring Ave. A male subject was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges pending for possession of marijuana.
Feb. 5
4:15 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. The male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Subject resisted arrest and was jailed.
7:10 PM – Officers assisted MCSO with detaining two male subjects that appeared suspicious, and one of which was possibly armed with a knife. All was okay.
Feb. 6
2:43 PM – Owners of a store in the 200 block of S. Teel Ave. asked officers to secure store. A male subject was concealing items and was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:46 PM – Complainant reported a 2014 gold Malibu had been taken from the parking lot. The car was picked up by a repo company.
4:10 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Dixon Dr. for a subject causing a disturbance. A male subject was highly intoxicated and was jailed. Subject was also in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of meth.
Feb. 7
8:34 AM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Hickory Hwy. for an assault in progress. A female subject was cited and released for assault by contact. Parties separated.
3:51 PM – Disturbance between a 16-year-old male subject and his father in the 600 block of Hickory Hwy.
4:52 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. A male subject was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges pending for possession of marijuana.
5:17 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of S. Teel Dr. for a disturbance. A female subject was cited and released for assault by contact family violence.
3:46 PM – Complainant reported a 2014 gold Malibu had been taken from the parking lot. The car was picked up by a repo company.
4:22 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. A male subject was cited and released for an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
