Devine Police Report August 17-23


August 17
5:15 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Zig Zag Ave. reported that her ex was following her, trying to see their kids. The male subject was told to stop following the complainant and wait until she called to set up custody arrangements.
9:30 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB and mile marker 124 in reference to a silver Ford SUV all over the road. Unable to locate.
August 18
1:08 AM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of W. Davis Ave. in reference to loud music. Homeowner turned the music down.
2:34 PM – Verbal disturbance between a father and his 16-year-old son in the 700 block of Rosemary. Father left before officers’ arrival.
2:58 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Webb Ave. advised her boyfriend would not give her the key to her car. Complainant left before officer’s arrival. Officer made contact with the complainant by phone; all was okay.
5:49 PM – Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a vehicle parked next to a dumpster behind the building. Officer made contact with the occupants; all was okay.
6:23 PM – Officer served an Atascosa County warrant and a Bexar County warrant on a male subject.
August 19
2:17 AM – Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject on location. The subject was located at a gas station. The assistant fire chief transported the subject to a local boarding home.
2:48 AM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB near mile marker 125 to assist DPS with a vehicle rollover. Unknown injuries. Officer made location and provided cover and support.
8:49 PM – Officer assisted Natalia PD officer with traffic control on Hwy. 132.
9:28 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to a suspicious male subject parked behind the business. The male subject was spying on his wife due to possible infidelity.
10:40 PM – Bay door open in the 400 block of W. Hondo Ave. Officer made contact with key holder. Employee made location and secured the building.
11:45 PM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a dark-colored SUV going up and CR 761. Officers made contact with a male subject who was looking for an address in the 300 block of CR 761.
August 20
2:48 AM – Officer assisted Lytle PD with an adult male in the 700 block of Hwy. 173. The subject was relocated back to his residence.
8:53 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of Windy Knoll Dr. reported the theft of an ACI trash can. The trash can was last seen on August 15.
2:02 PM – A vehicle stalled out in the middle of Hondo Ave. A towing company made location and towed the vehicle.
6:00 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of Windy Knoll Dr. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
8:15 PM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. for a report of a verbal disturbance between a male subject and his stepdaughter. The male subject was jailed.
8:45 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Renfro Dr. for a disturbance between a wife and husband. Both separated for the night.
11:28 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. College Ave. advised an unfamiliar vehicle had been parked in front of the residence for several hours. Paperwork inside the car had an address in the 300 block of Renfro Dr. Officer made contact with the homeowner, who advised the car had broken down. All was okay.
August 21
1:30 AM – The 13-year-old nephew of complainant in the 100 block of Wallace Ave. was acting out. Officers counseled the juvenile. All was okay.
3:56 PM – Verbal disturbance between multiple parties in the 600 block of W. Moore Ave. No weapons. Officers made location. Civil matter between siblings over items.
5:58 PM – Complainant reported that UPS delivered an iPad that was now missing. Lost property.
11:04 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Tuttle in reference to a male subject on location. The subject was identified.
11:08 PM – A juvenile male subject broke a window in the 300 block of N. Washington Dr. Charges pending.
August 22
11:51 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of Hwy. 173 N. The male driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
1:14 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. advised her husband was on location and was intoxicated and grabbed her by the arm. The male subject was jailed for assault – family violence by contact.
3:50 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. reported that she believes someone tried to take her door off the hinges.
7:32 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male and female arguing about directions. All was okay.
10:10 PM – An open door was secured in the 300 block of W. Hondo Ave.
August 23
12:22 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of Hickory Hwy. in reference to an ex-boyfriend on location. Per daughter, the male subject has permission to be on location.
