Devine Police Report April 27-May 3


April 27

2:20 PM – Complainant reported a missing brown wallet with two zippers. Last location was in Natalia.
3:53 PM – Complainant reported two male subjects drinking behind a store in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. One male subject was identified as residing at an adult daycare and was provided a ride home.
11:52 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of S. Teel Dr. reported a disturbance between himself and his girlfriend. Parties separated for the night. No charges wished to be filed.
April 28
12:45 PM – Complainant reported several items were taken from a storage unit.
7:36 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Coker Ave. reported that two Hispanic males in a green, older model Chevy stopped and flipped him off. Complainant advised he had never seen the subjects before.
10:14 PM – Complainant reported a white PT Cruiser without lights on driving recklessly. Officers made contact with driver. All was okay.
April 29
12:54 AM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a teenage female in all black who appeared to be scared. Officers checked the area.
1:07 AM – A pile of brush was dumped in the middle of the roadway in the 700 block of Faye Ave. The brush was removed.
10:15 AM – Officer dispatched to the 800 block of Flores Dr. in reference to a disturbance between complainant and her mother’s boyfriend. The boyfriend was in possession of drug paraphernalia and also had an active Bexar County warrant and was jailed.
4:49 PM – Complainant reported a silver Acura all over the roadway. Officers located the vehicle at mile marker 124 and followed it to Walmart. No violations observed.
7:09 PM – Complainant reported tire debris in the roadway on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
April 30
10:00 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Corley reported that someone hit his truck at the dead end of the street. Complainant requested an officer come out and speak to male subject.
10:11 AM – Person in an old green car speeding and driving recklessly and hit a neighbor’s trash can.
12:33 PM – Complainant in the 800 block of CR 6612 reported that her husband lost his wallet on the side of the road.
12:45 PM – Complainant reported a green car with two Hispanic males was driving recklessly. The vehicle was later located parked. Both subjects were jailed for public intoxication. One subject also had three active municipal warrants.
2:53 PM – Complainant advised of nails on the roadway in front of the Devine Pawn Shop.
May 1
1:59 AM – Complainant advised of a disturbance between his parents. Parties separated.
3:44 AM – Complainant reported a blue Chevy pickup all over IH-35. Unable to locate; Frio Co. notified.
11:38 AM – Officers assisted with a vehicle pursuit. Subject apprehended in Natalia.
12:06 PM – Officers assisted DPS with a two-vehicle accident on IH-35 SB.
1:36 PM – Officers looked for a red or maroon car that was involved in a theft.
4:04 PM – Officer dispatched to assist Atascosa Co. with locating a subject with three active felony warrants. The subject was located and ran from officers. The subject was located and jailed. A female subject stated she would assist officers but failed to do so, and allowed the subject to hide in her residence. The female subject was also jailed.
4:20 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a verbal disturbance between two female subjects in the store. Unable to locate; all was okay.
4:30 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Jack Nicklaus reported a van with no front license plate.
May 2
10:34 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of Transportation Dr. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
May 3
11:07 AM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with stopping a paper plate gray car in Devine Trailer Park possibly involved in an early burglary of a building in Twin Lakes.
12:48 PM – Complainant reported a white male in a white Tahoe acting suspiciously behind a store in the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
5:35 PM – Report of an elderly female sitting in the Walmart parking lot. Officer made contact with the subject and gave her a courtesy ride to Country Corner Inn.
6:40 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifter. A female subject was detained and released with a citation for a county court date.
