Dec. 28
1:02 PM – Officers assisted with a suicidal 52-year-old male subject on CR 7710. The subject was placed under an emergency detention by a deputy.
3:50 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of Hayden Ave. advised burning was being done and smoke was coming into his home. Officer made location and burning was already being completed. Resident was advised of Ordinance.
3:57 PM – A male subject wearing blue jeans, a gray sweater, and a black cap was knocking on doors in the 300 block of Dubose Ave. Officers made contact with the subject, who was waiting for his sister. All was okay.
6:00 PM – Officer assisted Natalia PD with a male subject in the 900 block of Hwy. 132 N. who was saying he wanted to kill himself. Officer made location and provided cover and support.
Dec. 29
2:00 AM – Traffic stop in the 100 block of W. College Ave. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
9:10 AM – A male subject was asking customers at Walmart for money. Employees wanted the male escorted off the property. The subject was given a courtesy ride off of the property and advised not to come back for the day.
1:19 PM – Complainant advised she found a debit card in the ATM. The card was released to Bank on Dec. 31.
6:02 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of McAnnelly reported hearing a loud bang in the area. Officer patrolled the area; all was okay.
8:45 PM – Traffic stop in the 1000 block of Hwy. 132 N. A male subject was found to be in possession of controlled substances including marijuana, cocaine as well as 13 pills of alprazolam (Xanax). The subject was jailed.
Dec. 30
12:46 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Fox Run reported someone in the alley behind her house with a flashlight. Officers patrolled the area; unable to locate.
2:55 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on IH-35. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
9:02 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to fireworks being popped. Unable to locate.
9:54 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Dixon Dr. in reference to fireworks being popped. Unable to locate.
10:05 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject walking from door to door who was believed to be a boarding home resident. The subject was taken back to the boarding home.
Dec. 31
12:15 PM – Complainant reported a black Suburban speeding on IH-35 SB. Unable to locate.
7:57 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Fox Run in reference to fireworks in the area. Unable to locate.
Jan. 1
3:05 PM – Officers executed a warrant on a male subject in the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. The subject was jailed.
5:00 PM – Officer assisted Natalia PD with a five-person fight on Aubrey.
8:45 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 800 block of N. Teel Dr. 1.2 grams of meth and $295 in cash were seized. A male subject was jailed.
Jan. 2
12:44 PM – Complainant reported hearing 6-7 shots. She wasn’t sure if they were fireworks or gun shots, but wanted an officer to come out. Officer made contact with the complainant and found two fireworks pieces.
6:35 PM – Complainant reported a laptop being stolen. It was last seen about two months ago. A family member is suspected.
11:37 PM – Report of loud music in the area of Wilkens Way. Unable to locate.
Jan. 3
1:14 AM – Complainant received a call from her sister, who stated her husband possibly pulled a gun on her. TDFPS contacted.
1:40 AM – Officer transported an adult male in the 600 block of King Ave. to Methodist Hospital for an emergency detention.
8:05 PM – Complainant reported a maroon Ford truck all over the roadway on IH-35. Officer made location; unable to locate.
10:09 PM – An adult male in the 600 block of Davis Ave. was placed under an emergency detention.
