The next meeting of the Devine Garden Club will be Thursday, November 15 at 3:00 pm in the Horvath home, 135 CR 7811, Natalia, Texas. Hostesses for this meeting are Alma Horvath and Andrea Vasquez. Our program will be on Floral Design, presented by two of our members, Elsa Rodrigues and Miriam Garcia, who have recently attended Floral Design School at the San Antonio Women’s Garden Center. Good to Grow will be presented by Dorothy Saunders. Alma Horvath will furnish the auction item. Visitors are always welcomed.
Community Involvement
A special thank you to all who came by our booth at the Devine Fall Fest on November 3rd. We had a very successful plant sale. The garden club appreciates your support of our major project, the upkeep of the Four Corners Area in downtown Devine. Also, be sure and check out our Fall Scarecrow Display. The ladies had a great time creating the whimsical scarecrows. Those involved were: Sondra Rackley, Susan Schott, Susan Wisenbaker, Elsa Rodrigues, Dorothy Saunders, Miriam Garcia, and Sandra Stacy. A huge thank is extended to our spouses who also pitched-in to make this display possible, David Rodriques, Ron Rackley. Arnold Saunders, and Larry Stacy.
