Devine Food Pantry fundraiser and free concert Nov. 18

The River City Kings are performing a free concert at the Devine Food Pantry’s fundraiser on Nov. 18.

The Devine Food Pantry Ministry will host its second annual Fall fundraiser on Saturday, November 18th at the Devine Community Center. Doors open at 5 PM and the event is FREE of charge. The River City Kings will entertain you with country music from 5-7 pm.
Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and bake sale. The live auction will begin around 7:15 pm. A delicious pulled pork dinner can be purchased for $7.00.
Because this event benefits the food pantry, non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted.
In the silent auction you’ll find beanie babies, antique glassware, homemade wreaths, a new Hunter 52” indoor/outdoor ceiling fan, knives and more.
We have received donations from local businesses and restaurants including Charlie’s II, Heavy’s BBQ, Chuy’s, O’Rileys Auto Parts and others in Devine and the Railhead Café, El Jardin and more in Lytle. We have gift cards from Pei Wei, Mama Margies, the San Antonio Zoo and Santikos theaters and others. Our live auction will have items such as a smoker, a beautiful hand crafted mesquite cross, a Christmas Quilt, and more so come and do your Christmas shopping early.
The Devine Food Pantry Ministry is making a difference to the people in the communities we serve. Our Mission is to provide a way for churches in the Devine area to work together in Christian ministry and witness to provide area residents and transients through emergency assistance with food, counseling information, referral, guidance and other resources toward long-term solutions to their problems. The Devine Food Pantry Ministry serves about 400 families each month from its location at 309 N Teel.
Come join us on Saturday, November 18th at the Devine Community Center. Doors open at 5 PM.
