Delores M. Ross, 55, went to be with the Lord on May 2nd, 2018. She was born on November 25, 1962 in Glendale, Arizona. Devoted wife of 35 years and loving mother, a woman of abundant joy and unbounded energy. The ringleader, she worked tirelessly to raise and stay a step ahead of three children, then three grandchildren which no doubt gave her a run for her money. Her strength, not only through her battle with cancer, but throughout life is something that will be admired.
Delores worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for seven years and took advantage of her employment by going on many cruises in the Caribbean Seas–always, with family by her side. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts at home and making tied fleece blankets to wrap her family and grandkids in.
Delores is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Ross; her three children, Miranda Marie Trissal, Joseph Alan Ross (Brittany Noel Ross) and Christopher James Ross; her parents, Alfred and Barbara Maldonado; sisters, Debra Maldonado, Paige Farkas and Deanna Mumford; and brother, Dennis Maldonado. She was “Memere” to Lilly Marie Trissal (12), Aden James Trissal (9) and Avery Sterling Ross (11 mos). Delores is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of the Resurrection was Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Louis Catholic Church, 1306 Angelo Street, Castroville, Texas 78009. Services concluded at the church.
