Curtis Paul Babineaux

Curtis Paul Babineaux was born on October 10th in 1931 in Crowley, Louisiana. He passed away on November 24th, 2018 at the age of 87.
He is survived by his immediate family, Brother John (Cecilia) Babineaux of San Antonio, Sister Amelia Babineaux of Crowley, Louisiana, his stepdaughters Margaret Jackson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Glenda Gardner of Devine and partner Don Green of Devine.
He also leaves numerous family and extended family including four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter and many, many close friends.
Curtis was one of the 13 children of Luke and Olivia (Venable) Babineaux of Crowley Louisiana. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked for Union Pacific Railroad until retiring in the 50s. He married Dorothy Jean Keeton of Lytle and eventually settled in Devine. After working on electrical systems on airplanes, he retired again from Kelly Field in 1991 to enjoy the unmeasured love of family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial service will be held in January the day and time to be announced at a later time.
