Devine’s 2017Annual Drinking Water Quality Report- 1 violation
You’ll find a public notice from the City of Devine in this week’s print edition regarding the 2017 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. The full report which can be seen online shows an average level of 6 for Asbestos, and readings of the contaminant ranges between 0-10.244. The maximum contaminate level goal is 7.

Devine City Council approves nearly $20k for parks, removes Coker stop signs and speed bumps
Following recommendations from the Parks and Recreation Board, the Devine City Council voted to fund close to $20,000 in minor repairs and upkeep for Briscoe Park and Curcio Park in the Regular meeting held last Tuesday, March 20.

Devine City Council approves tax rate, balanced budget
The City of Devine passed a 2018 tax rate of $0.5110 per $100 of valuation, and a $10 million dollar budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 at a Special meeting held last Tuesday, September 26.
