Devine ISD and the City of Devine invite everyone to watch the Great North American Eclipse at Devine Warhorse Stadium on April 8, 2024 from 11am to 3pm. We will have a Limited number of eclipse viewing Glasses on a first come, first serve Basis.

Family fun day at Devine Acres to benefit the family of Audrey Jane Capps
On April 6, from 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m., the family of Audrey Jane Capps will be hosting a “Some Run Fun Run and a Family Fun Day” at Devine Acres Farm. Five-year-old Audrey is battling a disease called A-T or Ataxia Telangiectasia.
The “Family Fun Day” admission opens at 10am, followed by “princess and protectors” Singing Princess performance at 10:30 a.m.

Devine Food Pantry will host a 2-hour seminar on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 10 am to 12 noon for any resident who needs assistance filling out applications for SNAP, TSAP, TANF, CHIP/Children’s Medicaid, Adult Medicaid, and WIC.

Lytle Music Festival slated for March 22-23
The Lytle Music Festival will return in March! Be sure to mark your calendars for March 22-23rd. They have a great line-up, including a Tejano band, local musicians, and regional acts. The Chad Cooke Band is the headlining band on Saturday, March 23rd.
All the scheduled acts have original music found on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, etc. Plus you can catch some of their songs on Texas country radio stations.

Devine Food Pantry to begin evening distribution on Feb. 9th
Fire Dept’s Chili Cook-Off Feb. 24th
We are pleased to announce The DEVINE VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE DEPT’S largest Chili Cook-off, Flame Grilled Heroes, at Devine Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department – Devine Texas! It’s a big taste in a small town! The event will be held SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24th, 2024, 8 am to 6 pm, with public chili tasting from 11 – 3.
Water Well Owners Educational Event Feb. 7th
We are having a water well sample drop off on Wednesday, February 7th from 8:30am-10:00am the Medina Count Extension office (1506 Ave M, Hondo) or at the Medina County Groundwater Conservation District (1607 Ave K, Hondo). Pick up approved sample containers with instructions at one of these offices. There is a $15.00 per sample cost for this screening.
An Educational Meeting will be held Thursday, February 8th from 8:00am-12:00pm at the St. Louis Braden Keller Community Center (1410 Amelia St, Castroville).
