Seniors Kayla Wofford and Shelby Spivey along with sophomore Lillie Weyel competed in a STPGA sponsored tournament last Saturday in Corpus Christi at Oso Beach Golf Club. The tournament was reduced from the normal 18-hole to a 9-hole format due to rainy weather.
Top 5 honors went to Busby who took 3rd place by shooting a 44 while Spivey finished 5th with a 48. Weyel was a little off her game but benefitted from playing the course that also happens to be where the girl’s Class 4A Regional site is in April.
