Bernabe C. Gallegos of San Antonio, formally of Devine, passed away Saturday June 24, 2017 in San Antonio.
Bernabe was born June 11, 1928 in Devine to Feliciano and Angelita (Castillo) Gallegos.
He is survived by his sons, Guadalupe Jimenez of Kirby, Felix Gallegos and wife Olivia of Natalia, Bernabe Gallegos Jr. and wife Estella of Devine; daughters, Rosa Salinas of Bastrop, Anita Gallegos Timme and husband Frank of San Antonio; 22 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Bernabe is preceded in death by his parents Feliciano and Angelita Gallegos; his wife Fernanda Monreal Gallegos; daughter, Teresa Jimenez; brother, Donaciano C. Gallegos; daughter-in-law, Valeria Jimenez; sons-in-law, Jose G. Salinas and Willard Rentz.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine.
Mass will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
