Arabians place 2nd at FEAST, Warhorses run tough

The Devine Arabian and Warhorse Cross Country teams had to make some last minute arrangements in order to run in a meet this past weekend. With Hondo Municipal Golf Course saturated by rains over the previous few days that left the course not able to be ran on, Head Coach Khera Vay searched out other venues for her runners to be able to reap some rewards from the difficult workouts they have endured.
The Arabians finished in 2nd place out of 19 teams with 101 points. Bandera claimed the top spot with 35 points.
“This was a great, challenging meet for all of our runners,” stated Vay. “I was able to get the Arabians in the varsity division and I entered all the Warhorse runners in the JV division. I was proud of all of them for handling the last minute changes so well and for competing at a high level.”
