Arabians face Lytle in scrimmage

With a scrimmage under their belts, the Arabian basketball teams are off to a great start. The varsity and junior varsity teams held a practice game against Lytle last Wednesday night. Even with volleyball still in playoffs, Coach Jim Sessions was happy with how the scrimmage turned out.
“The scrimmage went really well. It is always great to get to practice against another team early in the season. We were able to do that on Wednesday against Lytle so it gave us several opportunities to evaluate our kids. We were able to play several kids and get to see what they can do against a little different competition. We only had two groups, a JV group and a varsity group…but both groups did well. I felt like both groups did some good things during the scrimmages. Of course, there are things we need to improve on. One of the best parts of this scrimmage is that it gave us a starting point for the season. Our goal is to build upon what we did at the scrimmage and get better as we approach the next game. In all, I am very excited to have this season underway!” Coach Sessions
The Arabians will have their next game Saturday, November 10th in Navarro.
