Arabians beat Wimberley in four sets

The Arabians played an exciting game against the Texans last Tuesday resulting in a 3-1 win; 25-20, 14-25, 25-22, and 25-14.

“We had some great energy and intensity in set one,” Coach Leigh Anne McIver said. “We lost some of it sometimes, but we were able to pull the win out.”
They served 5 aces; Alissa Stehle 2, Chesney Friesenhahn 2, and Makenna Morales 1. They were on fire with 47 kills; Addie Trojanowski 20, Sierra Pompa 15, Friesenhahn 6, Stehle 3, and Dana Aaron 1. With the assists, Sydney Rendon 12 and Trojanowski 28 earned a total of 40 for the team.
Defensively, the Arabians scored 8 blocks; Friesenhahn 5, Trojanowski 2, and Aaron 1. They had 95 digs; Makenna Morales 41, Rendon 15, Friesenhahn 14, Amanda Richardson 8, Stehle 4, Elizabeth Puente 4, Pompa 3, Megan Runyan 3, Aaron 2, and Julie Ortiz 1.
“We played our best in set 4,” Coach McIver said. “We stayed focused the whole time and played our game.”
