A rash of 15 vehicle burglaries hit Hondo

In the past 23 days, (from 8-27-18 to 9-18-18 press day), Hondo Police Department has investigated fifteen vehicle burglaries. Hondo Police Department is asking residents in the area to be wary and to report all suspicious activity to the PD.
“The majority of the reports indicate that the vehicles were left unlocked with a few that had forced entry. We are attempting to address the problem and ask residents to at least lock their vehicles and take their valuables in with them and not leave them in plain sight,” said a representative of Hondo PD.
