The Devine Middle School 8th Grade Fillys finished 3rd place in last Wednesday’s District Meet in Crystal City. The Fillys tallied 58 points, just 12 points behind 1st place Pearsall and 2nd place Carrizo Springs who tied with 46 points. Pearsall claimed the championship due to a higher 6th place team runner.
Rebecca Mares paced the Fillys, finishing 7th with a time of 13:55. Kristina Moralez (8th-13:57), Kaitlyn Morales (9th-13:58), Allison Dugosh (13th-14:20), Angelina Rios (21st-15:02), Cassandra Elias (29th-17:01), and Jasmine De La Torre (33rd-17:56) completed the times and scoring for the Fillys.
