Ciavarra Elementary and Devine Intermediate School are very excited to have brought home the 8th consecutive UIL District Championship.
“This year we entered 88 students in the various contests and won 62 medals overall,” said Devine ISD’s Jenni Hagdorn. “This is a huge increase in the number of participants, and we are all very excited with the results. Our coaches and students have worked extremely hard and together scored 637 points, which resulted in the overall academic championship. UIL is a wonderful extracurricular activity for students to participate in starting in 2nd grade. We look forward to continued success in the future.”
